“ALL ACHIEVEMENT, ALL EARNED RICHES, HAVE
THEIR BEGINNING IN AN IDEA!“
Jeg ville egentlig skrive uddrag fra bogen som jeg syntes var relevante, men når man læser et afsnit for sig selv give det ikke megen mening. Dog er der et par undtagelser:
“Barnes literally thought himself into a partnership with the great Edison! He
thought himself into a fortune. He had nothing to start with, except the capacity
to KNOW WHAT HE WANTED, AND THE DETERMINATION TO STAND BY
THAT DESIRE UNTIL HE REALIZED IT. “
“WHEN RICHES BEGIN TO COME THEY COME SO QUICKLY, IN SUCH GREAT ABUNDANCE,
THAT ONE WONDERS WHERE THEY HAVE BEEN HIDING DURING ALL
THOSE LEAN YEARS.“
“When Henley wrote the prophetic lines, “I am the Master of my Fate, I am the Captain
of my Soul,” he should have informed us that we are the Masters of our Fate,
the Captains of our Souls, because we have the power to control our thoughts.“
Det var de afsnit som jeg syntes virkelig stod ud og ramte med en næsten for simple form for logik.
Napoleon Hill fortæller i bogens forord:
“The secret to which I refer has been mentioned no fewer than a hundred times,
throughout this book. It has not been directly named, for it seems to work more
successfully when it is merely uncovered and left in sight, where THOSE WHO
ARE READY, and SEARCHING FOR IT, may pick it up.“
Efter første kapitel har jeg en anelse om hvad der er tale om, men det viser sig forhåbentligt i de kommende kapitler.
